My babies are growing so fast that I can't keep up! Seriously, where is the time going? My heart can barely handle it.
Last week was a big week for our little daisies. Mia started riding her big girl bike, Maise turned 9 months old August 16, she is saying new words like "kitty" and "daddy", and she has now outgrown her infant carrier and had to move into a real car seat which meant a new car seat for Mia too.
And Mia started preschool! Oh be still by breaking heart!
She was so excited to go to school and totally loved it. No tears from her! Of course, it helps having a couple of friends there, but she makes friends very quickly thanks to the awesome daycare experience she has had.
The big event of the week was Mia's long awaited play date with her best friend Sylvie. They both have been waiting for months for this day. Schedules and travel has kept us from setting a date until now, but on Saturday Sylvie was finally able to come over to play. My goodness did they have fun! No area of the house and yard were left untouched.
The playhouse is much more fun when you have someone to play house with!
Then Sylvie discovered the ATV. It was a whole new level of fun! They rode all over the yard squealing and screaming.
When the play date ended, it took a little work to say goodbye. They could have played all night! It is so fun to watch them have such a good time. We were all worn out that night!
I am ready for things to slow down a little bit. Another week like last week and my heart will explode!
